영화 “레미제라블”은 골든 글로브상에서는 영화 뮤지컬 코미디부분 작품상 외에도 영화 뮤지컬 코미디부분 남우주연상(휴 잭맨), 영화부분 여우조연상(앤 헤서웨이)을 수상했습니다. 또한 앤 해서웨이는 이 작품을 통해 영국 아카데미상 (BAFTA) 여우조연상, 미국 아카데미상 여우조연상, 미국 배우 조합상 영화부분 여우조연상, 크리틱스 초이스상 영화부분 여우조연상 등 여러 시상식을 휩쓸었습니다.

앤 해서웨이는 젊은 나이임에도 불구하고 ‘레 미제라블’이라는 대작이 갖고 있는 문학성, 팡틴이라는 어려운 인물을 깊이 있게 표현해냈습니다. 특히 I dreamed a dream을 부르는 부분에서는 젊은 시절 그녀가 보여줄 수 있는 가장 강렬한 장면을 보여줬다고 볼 수 있을 정도입니다.
