Ellen surprised 4th grade teacher McKenzie Southard, whose students challenged her to make TikToks to get the attention of celebrities and NFL teams… all for fun. It went viral, and she explained to Ellen how she turned it into a fundraiser, eventually raising over $50,000 for Shriners Hospital for Children. Ellen’s friends at Hilton love what McKenzie is doing for her community, and wanted to thank her by helping her reconnect with loved ones. Since McKenzie hasn’t been on a vacation for six years, Ellen surprised her with one year of Hilton Honors Diamond status, and a five-night stay at the brand-new, all-inclusive, beachfront resort Hilton La Romana in the Dominican Republic!
