Asked if the couple had ‘reconciled’ in the wake of reports of domestic abuse, Hayden told TMZ there were never even any problems between the duo in the first place.

‘Everything’s always been OK,’ the 30-year-old Heroes actress reassured the site.

This comes just a week the pair were seen holding hands while leaving LAX together. 

Hayden was all smiles despite the somewhat serious nature of the chat.

Describing the idea of any altercation as ridiculous, she tried to explain with a comparison.

‘If you only knew… It would be like getting into a fight, with like yelling at your puppy or something,’ Hayden said.

The reporter pushed Hayden to address reports that things got physical, to which she said: ‘No, everything is totally okay’ with a smile.

Defending herself against critics accusing her of being in a toxic relationship, the actress said: ‘My family knows I’m smart enough to make my own decisions and thank you for being concerned, but I am A-Okay.’ She also assured people that everything was fine between her and her family.

Hayden and Brian looked very much on-again as they walked through the airport in Los Angeles last Tuesday.

The couple first began dating in August 2018 after she was spotted walking barefoot out of a restaurant with Brian by her side.

Prior to their outing, it was believed that Hayden was still with her then-fiance Wladimir Klitschko, who she shares four-year-old daughter Kaya. 

The little one has been living with Wladimir in his home country of Ukraine and Hayden reportedly travels often to see her.
