So Hayden Panettiere (Kirby, from Scream 4) got a very familiar looking pixie cut, and posted it to Twitter with Scream related hashtags. So is she trying to tell us something? Also I am 100% aware that I said her hashtag was Scream5 when it was actually Scream4. I meant to say Scream 4. Don’t come for my head. It would be amazing if she is in deed in negotiations to come back for Scream 5, as Kirby was a fan favorite. However there is the little tricky fact that she is considered to be dead in the official Scream canon. However Wes Craven did specifically leave her death purposefully vague, as he saw the same potential in her that we all do. It would be something else for the folks over at Spyglass Media Group to honour Wes Craven’s vision moving forward, and allow Kirby to live to see another sequel. This may be the biggest stretch for Scream 5 news yet, but who knows? We may be looking back on this in a year when Hayden Panettiere has finished filming, and think “That Zack Cherry character was onto something back in December”.
