Top Gun: Maverick star Jennifer Connelly has teased fans about what to expect from the long-awaited sequel, admitting there will be “extraordinary” flying scenes.

The movie will see Connelly take up the role of Penny Benjamin, who acts as Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell’s (Tom Cruise) love interest.

Speaking about the movie’s flying scenes – and we are certainly expecting a few – the Oscar winner told Extra: “Those flying sequences are going to be so extraordinary.
